As everyone knows that blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person- gift of life. GHGDDNC conducted blood donation camp on 5th december, 2023. DONATE BLOOD SAVE LIFE. So the students of GHGDDNC students donate their blood. This camp has been successfully completed under the guidance of Dr. Snehal kotak palan.

The Arts & Cultural Club of GHG DDNC celebrated "Divratri" on 9th November,2023 Thursday; It was a function where both the best festivals Navratri and Diwali were celebrated together. The students and all the staff members were beaming with joy and happiness in their beautiful traditional outfits portraying the love for their culture and tradition
To prepare the students for their careers, the college organized a talk on career counselling by SBI Mr Rupen Shah senior Divisional sales manager SBI & Sanghvi Bhavy Development Manager SBI, on 6th Nov 2023, in B. Com Sem VI A, B& C. They gave a detailed summary of how students can build a career in Life Insurance SBI. Nearly 120 students attended the seminar.

Dr. Manan Thakrar on “Developing a Happy Mindset”. Happiness is a state of mind which can be achieved by being positive, and to be positive needs our concerted efforts. This was the underlined statement of Dr. Manan Thakrar, a well-known psychiatrist and consultant in the UK. He addressed several questions posed by the college students such as: how to overcome fear, how to free oneself from guilt consciousness, remedy for panic attacks and how to overcome the fear of being judged. Dr. Manan Thakrar very categorically explained to the students that the feeling of guilt and fear and of being judged are all human emotions and they have existed among human beings since primitive times. Nevertheless, it's not human like to sit back with your fear but to accept it and to work on it. He emphasized that we should align our thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and all have the right to be kind to themselves, and the right to be happy. The session was cathartic and will help many to deal with negative emotions. Dr. Manan thanked the Principal Dr. Snehal Kotak Palan for organizing such a session for the students. The principal Dr. Snehal kotak Palan thanked Dr. Manan for the insightful information that he shared, with a token of appreciation and Mrs. Sandra Moss the Vice Principal presented him with a plaque. The event was moderated by Ms Sneha Sumaria and guided by Dr. Snehal Kotak Palan the Principal.

The college expressed their appreciation for the initiative and efforts made by RES students to have a positive impact on the environment. To further support their cause, a staff drive was organized on October 25th 2023. During this event, 25 RES students presented on the topic of reusing plastic and demonstrated how we can make ECO bricks using non-biodegradable plastic wrappers they use at home. The RES students from the middle school and secondary stages have embraced the "Reuse of plastic" and "water conservation" projects.

These two performances left everyone with more love, honour and pride for our country. Oet cricket, AND POOL&SNOOKER tournament Oshwal Education Trust Cricket Tournament was organised from 3rd January 2023 to 3rd February 2023 at college campus. 45 teams in Cricket and 50 teams in Pool & Snooker tournament participated. Tournament was organised within three groups – School Boys, College Boys and College Staff. Pool and Snooker was organised for College Boys. Prize distribution ceremony was organised on 15th April 2023 at Rangmanch of the College premises.

A book can change us for good , envelopes our life with it’s turning pages and with a hint of vanilla. For Us , the readers of Library club , we found our freedom in those turning pages, some of us experienced escaping present while indulging into something that feels like a part of us . To get more inside knowledge about this we the members of library club had a “COFFEE PE CHARCHA” session held on 7th January at GHG-DDN . Total of 10 members along with Miss Krupa Trivedi and Mr.Ketan mehta (librarian ) attended the Informal charcha and mutually agreed to the fact that Reading gives us our own personal space in this busy & chaotic world around us . It provides us with a clarity in our mind with respect to our lives .

Dairo and old songs were performed by the students with live music. Entertaining moments were mimicry, movie dialogue talk, shayari, singing and garba dance by the members of the asharam as well as the students of the college. Nature has gifted us with immense treasure. One of the most beautiful treasures is the TREES. When we plant a tree, we are doing what we can to make our planet a more wholesome and happier dwelling place for those who come after us if not for ourselves. If we shall not sustain trees, then we shall soon be living in a world that will not sustain people. We must inculcate the responsibility of conserving and growing maximum number of trees. To spread this awareness a tree plantation camp was organized by NSS on 5th August, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Shri Gosar Hansraj Gosrani Commerce and Shri D.D.Nagda BBA College Jamnagar. In which the college students with the Principal and faculty members all together had planted nearly 50 saplings.

Superintendent of Police addressed students of OET managed GHG DDN College on e-FIR application. On 2nd Aug 2022, Shri Premsukh Delu – Superintendent of Police, Shri J K Gadhe – P I city “C” division, and Shri NA Chavda EI visited OET managed Shri G.H. Gosrani Commerce College & D.D. Nagda BBA College Jamnagar for promotion and propagation of “e-FIR” application. The programme was graced with presence of Shri R. K. Shah Sir – Managaing Trustee, OET, , Dr. Bhartesh Shah Sir – Trustee OET, Dr. Snehal Kotak Palan Ma’am – Campus Director – OET managed Colleges & Ms Hetal Sawla Principal of CZMG BCA College. A total of 150 students and staff attended the programme. The programme started with a digital lamp lighting by all the esteemed guests. Shri Premsukh Delu Supt. Of Police then addressed the students about the E- FIR and also warned them about the increasing cases of frauds, cyber crime and Honey trap etc. The programme came to a close with a vote of thanks given by Dr Bhartesh Shah Trustee Of OET. ‘HAR GHAR TIRANGA’ is a campaign under the aegis of AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV to encourage people to bring the Tiranga at home and to hoist it to mark the 75th of year of India’s independence. GHG-DDN college took initiative through participating in this activity. The students had participated with full enthusiasm showing their respect towards the Indian National flag. The following activities were conducted: 1. Patriotic Song competition 2. Elocution competition 3. NSS Skit 4.Making of National flag using creativity 5.Selfie with National Flag 6.Essay Writing Competition 7. Pin a Flag virtually – around 600 students.

On 29th July 2022, Shri G.H. Gosrani Commerce & Shri D.D. Nagda BBA College hosted the visit of around 200 students of Radhika EduCare school from grade 6th – 10th along with their mentors. The visit had dual purpose, the students of Radhika EduCare School got a first-hand information & glimpse of College life. The College was proud to play a host to youngsters and to give them some guidance on choosing a career. Students were first taken on Campus tour then College staff addressed students on “Career in Commerce” and their queries were also answered. And at last students were provided refreshments. Students were very impressed by College infrastructure, classroom & environment and an unsaid bond was forged between Radhika EduCare School & GHG DDN College The Trustees of Oshwal Education Trust, Principal & staff wish the students of Radhika EduCare School a very bright future. ECGC organized a “founder series” and conducted first seminar on 18th JULY 2022 (MONDAY). The key note speaker was Alumni of CZMG college MR Harshit sanghani who is currently founder of BK softech. His main business is to develop software business. The entire session was planned and initiated by Third year BBA students under guidance of principal incharge of GHG- DDN Doctor snehal Kotak palan mam and president of ECGC club Doctor Gaurav Mehta sir. The duration of seminar was of 70 minutes where there was open talk cum discussion of Harshit sir with students of BBA stream. 5th October, 2021 Tuesday marked a vibrant Celebration of Jazbaa 2021 with FLashmob conducted by Funderstanding Eduteria. The campus was adorned by the participants at the central lawn and crowd all around not only enjoying the performance but a consent to join hands for betterment of the society. In synchronization with the club motive, fun with understanding we organized the activity “FLASH MOB” with various themes Participants enthusiastically presented various themes which really proved to be an eye opener to the audience. They attracted the audience with a synchrony of songs and dance and having attracted nicely conveyed the message. The groups were judged on the basis of entry-exit, theme, song selection and overall performance. This competition was held among 3 groups with an overwhelming participation of 70 enthusiastic students. The event was witnessed by our Principal Mrs. Snehal Kotak Palan, Vice Principal Mrs. Sandra Moss and other staff members. The event was judged by the vivacious performers and ex students of the institution Mr. Mohit Vakani and Ms. Chandani Ghadia.

We were glad to have amidst us Mrs. Sandra Moss and Ms. Shilpa Bhatt to evaluate the performance of the speakers. The participants were fortunate enough to be the beneficiaries of the suggestions and feedback shared by the judge.

Sur- Taal - 2021 As a part of overall development of Students. and especially in the field of music.to scan the talent of music, the club had organized a talent scan activity of the musical performance of the students. The students had performed in 4 different categories of Instrumental and vocal in group and solo both. In Group category 2 and in solo 7+2 performances were done. Students were allowed to use karaoke also.

Funderstanding Eduteria aimed at developing public speaking and influential skills by conducting ‘Bol Bachchan’ an elocution competition on 1st October, 202. 16 participants enthusiastically expressed their views on a varied range of topics such as: • Are we so happy living in the imaginary world of technology? • Impact of Covid-19 on Indian Economy • Digital India – Pros and Cons • Future of Electric Vehicles in India • Is spirituality endangering amongst students? We were glad to have amidst us Mrs. Sandra Moss and Ms. Shilpa Bhatt to evaluate the performance of the speakers. The participants were fortunate enough to be the beneficiaries of the suggestions and feedback shared by the judge.

A fresh and exciting morning with the beginning of the NSS camp adopted village at Chhapaberaja village – Jamnagar on 27th January 2020. Camp started with the inauguration function at 10:00 am in presence of all the trustees and other dignitaries. Inauguration started with the hosting of Ms. Hunny Vasa and Ms. Charmi (NSS Volunteers). Lamp lighting was done which continued with the amazing dance of school students. A skit was perfomed by the college students to aware about the cleanliness and diseases that flow out by mosquitoes. Audience was welcomed and introduced by Ms. Snehal Kotak Palan. Speech was continued by Mr. Dashrathsinh Jadeja and Ms. Aqsa khatri (NSS Programmer Officer). Audience was enlightened by the presence of Mr. N.K.Dobariya (NSS Programme Officer, Saurashtra University) and Ms. Sonal Joshi (NSS Programme Officer, Jamnagar District). Programme ended with the thanking speech at 12:30 pm and continued with the lunch. The OET managed Colleges celebrated the 71st Republic Day by hoisting the flag followed by a drill display by the NSS and NCC cadets. Shri Bipin Bhai Jhaveri College Committee member and the Campus Director and Principal of GHG DDN college Mrs Snehal Kotak Palan had hoisted the flag. Shri Bipinbhai Jhaveri lauded the performance of the NCC and NSS cadets. The contribution of Kruti Vaishnav and Jayrajsinh Sodha is worth special mention, as they had trained the NCC and NSS cadets for the drill display. The OET managed Colleges celebrated Independence Day at the college campus by hoisting the flag followed by patriotic performances by college students. The Valedictory ceremony for Jazbaa I 2019-20 was held on 16th Oct 2019. Eleven clubs conducted 20 activities and nearly180 certificates were given away to the students who had competed in the 20 activities. The guests for valedictory function were Shri Bipinbhai Jhaveri College committee member, The Campus Director Mrs. Snehal Kotak Palan and Dr. Ajay Shah Director JVIMS. As the college enters its 22nd year of teaching Odyssey, molding minds and widening horizons, the college students put up a mesmerizing performance for the award function “Kshitij 2019”, on 5th August 2019, at the Dhanvantri auditorium. Keeping with the digital times, a digital lamp lighting was done by the esteemed OET Manging Trustee Shri Ramniklal. K. Shah, Shri Keshavji. Meghji. Gosrani, Shri Chandubhai. Raichand. Shah, Shri Bhartesh. Keshavji. Shah Committee Member Shri Bipinbhai Jhaveri, Campus Director Mrs. Snehal Kotak Palan, Director JVIMS Dr. Ajay Shah and Vice Principal Mrs. Sandra Moss. The students received awards in various categories and made their parents proud. The Oshwal Education Trust family of Jamnagar felicitated Shri Keshavji Meghji Gosrani on being appointed as the Managing Trustee of the Visa Oshwal Samaj for a term of six years. He was felicitated with a shawl and a plaque. All through the event had the flavor of pride, discipline and was stamped with the mark of punctuality. The recognition and rewards evening really proves to be a motivation and boost for the students to perform well throughout the year.

The college Investiture ceremony was held on 4th August 2019. Ninety students formed the Students' Council for 2019-20 at Shri Gosar Hansraj Gosrani Commerce and Shri Dharamshi Devraj Nagda BBA College Oshwal Education Trust. Students were appointed as Secretary, Joint Secretary and two coordinators for each of the 13 clubs and Class representatives and Sports Representatives for each of the 18 classes. Two Chief Student Coordinators appointed were Nirav Munjal (B. Com Sem V) Rishit Malvi (BBA sem V). The guests present for the function were Trustee Shri B. K. Shah, Committee member Shri Bipin bhai Jhaveri, Director - JVIMS Dr. Ajay Shah. The sash and the badge were handed over to the present CSC's by the former CSC's. The ceremony ended with the motivational speech by the Principal Mrs. Snehal Kotak Palan, who very clearly told the students not to get carried away by the feeling of pride but to feel the burden of responsibility and work for the betterment of the college. The student council ensures smooth functioning of the institute and ensure discipline, punctuality and effective management of the college.

Thanganat 2019 was jointly celebrated by all the OET managed colleges on 19th Oct 2019 amidst the glitz and glamor of lights, colour and rhythmic music. It was an evening when the students danced for life and created a mark for themselves by winning the various competitions. The graceful khelaiyas with their colourful and vibrant costumes create an appealing and eyecatching view at the arean of Thanganat - A Navratri Celebration. The Navratri celebration at OET managed colleges is a treat to the eye and fuel for the mind. It is the most awaited celebration at Oshwal Education Trust. The guests for the event were Shri R K Shah Managing Trustee, Shri C R Shah Hon. Secretary and Trustee of OET, Shri Harshvadhanbhai Gosrani School Committee member & Shri Parimalbhai Vadhar. It was a mega event where all the seven colleges of OET participated. It was well organized under the able guidance of the Campus Director Mrs. Snehal Kotak Palan, Director JVIMS Dr. Ajay Shah, Principal CZMG BCA College Mrs. Hetal Savla, and the support of Arts & Cultural club and all staff members and student volunteers.

The Freshers Party was a gathering of 400 power packed youngsters who were given a special treat by the seniors who organized a thrilling three-hour programme. The party was held on 18th July2019 in the college campus. The party was spotted with Group dances, Musical performance and games. Everyone enjoyed the party. It was indeed an ice breaking session for the novices. Some of the Teaching Faculties also attended the party and students were overwhelmed seeing their presence at Party. At the end of Party, Mr. Fresher and Miss. Fresher award was given out of the students who participated in the event organized.

The Principal, staff and 320 students went on a Rally to propagate against anti-addiction and to keep India clean and green. The Rally was flagged off at Oshwal Centre by Trustee Shri C R shah, Shri B.K. Shah, Committee member Shri Ashokbhai Shah and Shri Bipnbhai Jhaveri. Superintendent of Police Shri Sharad Singhal (IPS) endorsed the mission of the Rally and asked the Police personnel to join the Rally and requested them to quit their addiction. At the end of the Rally many students pledged to quit eating 'paan' and 'gudka'. In this way the Rally helped make a difference and bring about a change.

International Yoga day was celebrated at Shri GHG-DDN College with full energy to accomplish the aspirations of having healthy India. 230 students along with staff participated in this international event energetically from 6:30 am to 7:50 am under the guidance of Mr. Samir Chavda, Yoga Instructor in association with Patanjali Yoga Kendra Jamnagar on 21st June 2019. Even, Yoga Camp was held from 14th June to 20th June 2019 in the college premises for the students and staff of the college. Around 80 participants took the benefit of this Yoga Camp. In charge of the programme were Mrs. Snehal Kotak Palan, Ms. Sandra Moss, Lt. Prabhanshu Awasthi (NCC Officer), Ms. Aqsa Khatri (NSS Officer) and Ms. Devi Haria (NSS Co-ordinator). On the International Yoga Day, Live telecast from Delhi where in the Prime Minister of India addressed the country about the importance of Yoga was shown to our students in the College Conference Hall.

Continuous up gradation is the success mantra of today's education system. Focusing on this fundamental concept the OET managed Shri GHG-DDN college had organized a Faculty Development Programme for the most trending subject of research from 3rd June 2019 to 8th June 2019. The curriculum of the FDP was so designed that those who were new to this subject could achieve maximum acceleration in the field of research and SPSS software which is at most necessity for the research. Dr. Gaurang Rami and Dr. Manish Rawal had taken 24 different theoretical and practical sessions of research methodology and data analysis aspects. 34 scholars were beneficiary of this development programme. For the success of this mega knowledge fest principal Mrs. Snehal Kotak Palan and her co-orientating team had taken great efforts. At the end of this programme, the participants gave the feedback about their experience and knowledge enhancement on attending all the sessions of FDP. On Concluding day, Participation certificate were distributed by The Principal and College Trustees to 34 Scholars who took the benefit of this FDP.

Nostalgia filled the air as the 250 alumnis from the batch of 1998 to 2016 made their way into the college campus deeply struck by a sense of belonging on 23rd December 2017. It was a congregation of alumni along with their spouse and kids. Shri Bharteshbhai Shah Trustee OET, Principal- Snehal Kotak Palan, Vice Principal – Sandra Moss and the whole staff of GHG DDN was present for the function. The programme started with the students registering in the Alumni Association, followed by an entertainment programme hosted by one of the best Anchor in the city Mr. Parag Vora. He made our alumnis play various games and the whole environment was filled with the air of college day's masti. The game was a total fun and light moments for people out of their busy schecules. they relived their college life. Thereafter we had the introduction of the Office bearers of the Alumni Association. The evening concluded with dinner hosted by the trust for the entire gathering. Time had catapulted but memories wafted through as students flowed in filling the air with reminiscences of the good, the not so good and most of all the truants once played, all this was encapsulated into one evening with our Alumni.

On the 12th of August 2017, the city of Jamnagar was abuzz with around 500 students from 15 colleges across Jamnagar district for the Third Module of 'Student Development Programme', an initiative of Saurashtra University. Our college took the entire onus of organizing and efficiently executing the smooth functioning of the entire event. The expert speaker Dr. Anil Ambasana sent out an adrenaline rush among the students by speaking very emphatically and convincingly on the topic of “P2- Prepare to Present”. A team of 8 Trainers came from Rajkot for Technical workshops conducted after the seminar. A Well appreciated response came from students who attended workshop. This is one of a unique programme initiated by Saurashtra University for all round development of the students and wide exposure for their placements and making them corporate ready by the completion of graduation courses. The experts had justified the topic in its true sense with their expert views and opinions enriched by their experiences. We are highly grateful to university and their planning committee for organising the amazing Student Development Programme.

Tthe 19th Annual Day celebrated on 22nd Dec 2017, stood testimony to its title 'Adbhutt Akalpaniya Avismarniya' as the students enthralled the audience with a scintillating performance. The entire performance had the favor and spice of tradition, uniqueness and excellence. The icing on the cake was the timely start of the programme. The programme started with the blessings of Mahantshree Devprasadji Maharajshree of Shri Anandbawa Seva Sanstha. Jamnagar, who inaugurated the completion of the 20-year journey of the college. This was followed by an address by the Chief Guest Shri Ravi Shankar, IAS, Collector & District Magistrate. Another outstanding feature of this event was that, Eight out of Nine trustees of OET were present for the event.The Principal, Mrs.Snehal Kotak Palan gave a detailed report of the college, lauding the performances of student achievers in academics and the state and National achievers in Sports and extra-curricular activities. The performers ignited the stage with the dances such as Robotics, Spiritual Soothers, Radhe Krishna and Swaggers and gave a fitting Tribute to the parents with a dance 'Pyaari Maa' and Drama 'Love you Papa'. Shri Chandulal R Shah gave the vote of thanks and the programme ended with all, the Principal, the Vice Principal, the staff and all the performers occupying the stage and in one voice filled the air with the rendition of 'Maa Jujhe Salaam…
