- NCC means National Cadet Corps. It is one type of force that is created by the students studying in schools and colleges. After Independence, the present-day NCC came into existence on 16th April 1948, through the XXXI Act of parliament. NCC was formally inaugurated on 15th July 1948, the Girls Division was raised in July 1949
- The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.
